all about emaluha

Hello there,

I'm Emily, a chaotic artist who loves creating things. I have been doing so for a long time now.

I call myself a chaotic artist because that's exactly what I am. I don't follow a set process, and my studio is always in a state of messy array. I can't seem to focus on a specific area of study either. I enjoy working with various mediums and continuously experiment with new ones. While I am more recognized for my 2D and illustrative pieces, I also enjoy getting my hands dirty and creating functional objects, or at the very least, cool-looking 3D pieces. Despite lacking cohesiveness, my work often incorporates bright colors, curvy illustrative lines, and a touch of femininity.

Currently, I am working on more original pieces and rediscovering what I thought I had lost through a journey of self-compassion, generational healing, and personal growth. I hope that these experiences will translate into my artwork.

What I love most is the ability to create something that inspires others, showcases the beauty in the mundane, and perhaps evokes a sense of nostalgia or humor. I live in a fantasy world—or so I've been told—and I enjoy sharing that imaginative realm with others.

Whether you've been with me since the early days of comic cons and Disney or if you're joining us now, welcome to this crazy adventure. It's just as much of a roller coaster for me as it is for you, and I hope you enjoy the ride!
